• Vintage Bottle Soap Dispenser

I feel a little bit silly about blogging about something so simple & obvious…but I wanted to show you the soap dispenser that I put together for our vintage-inspired bathroom reno –

I’m sure you can figure out how easy it is to make one. Just steal the dispenser part from an ordinary plastic soap dispenser –

Then all you need is an old bottle with a top that fits the dispenser. This one I bought for $1 at a thrift store over the summer while I was collecting bottles to use for our wedding centerpieces. I adore the type on it & its rectangular shape.

I placed it on a little scalloped dish (also found at a thrift store – 2 for a 25 cents!).

Looks fancy, don’t you think? I might eventually replace the plastic dispenser with a nicer one – maybe ORB to match the fixtures (you know, if I find something like that at a thrift store, haha), but I think its fine for now. And it’s nice & tall, so I think it will look pretty fab next to our new vessel sink 🙂 GAH can’t wait!

(Btw, if you’re curious about the bathroom progress – we made a decision on our tile for the floor & the shower, but no luck yet on finding a small dresser to turn into the vanity. I’ll be sure to share some more pictures soon!)
